The society owns its own premises, which are available to members by arrangement throughout the week.
The large, main clubroom is used for layout construction, project development and other modelling activities.
A separate room is dedicated to a very comprehensive library offering a wide range of reference to individual railways, locomotives, rolling stock, railway infrastructure, operation and services. Of particular interest to newcomers to the hobby is the section devoted to model railway layout construction and control systems. Books are loaned free to members.
There are also facilities for refreshments.
Generally, at six weekly intervals the society has available a 30ft. by 16ft. quadruple circuit 16.5mm and 32mm gauge Running Track, which enables stock to be tested and full length, trains to be run which cannot otherwise be accommodated on home or club layouts.
There is car parking.
